setting up your session

HOW MUCH DOES A SESSION COST? HOW DO I FIND OUT?

I have many session options and types located in the Investment tab above and below which are all dependent on many factors.

HOW DO I CONTACT YOU?

You can contact me a few different ways. Email me at megan@megangarnettphotography.com or message me on my facebook page Megan Garnett Photography on Facebook.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? DO YOU TRAVEL?

I'm located in Northwest Oklahoma and I am definitely willing to travel if you are willing to pay for my travel expenses plus the mileage charge described in each session package. I hope to work with you soon!

I'VE BOOKED MY SESSION. WHAT'S NEXT?

After you've booked your session, you need to sign my contract (this protects us both) and send the retainer fee (included in all session packages). This shows me that you are serious about working together and allows me to block off the agreed upon date and time with finality.

WHAT DO I WEAR TO MY SHOOT? WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

I have a page here detailing help preparing for your session as well as here for what to wear for guys and here for gals. If your session allows for it, I absolutely recommend clothing changes. Even if you are unsure of what to wear, please feel free to bring options. We can go over them together and make the best choice for the style and location of your session. Props are also a fun addition to any session. If you have a special quilt or blanket, chair, etc. I would love to incorporate it into your session.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD OR WE HAVE TO RESCHEDULE?

If you find you need to reschedule for personal reasons, I would ask that you let me know as soon as possible. If the weather forces us to reschedule, I will do everything in my power to find a solution and a new date that works for everyone involved.

If a client doesn't show up to their session (with no notice), the retainer fee will not be returned. You agree to this in the contract, which must be signed prior to your session.

WHERE CAN I VIEW MY PHOTOS?

You will be able to view them in an online gallery which I will send to you as soon as the gallery is ready. I will also provide you with a mobile app (available to IOS and Android devices) for quick access to your portrait gallery.

HOW DO I SAVE/DOWNLOAD MY PHOTOS?

I will message and email you with the links to your online gallery and mobile gallery apps. I have tutorials for downloading both here and here.

WHEN WILL MY PHOTOS BE READY?

Generally, I promise your photos within three weeks of your session date. However, if you book in October or May, it may take a bit longer as those are the busiest months of the year for photography. Regardless, I will do my best to get your photos to you as soon as possible

CAN I POST IMAGES ONLINE/ ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

YES! I strongly encourage you to share the watermarked version of your photos that I provide with your download. This option has my watermark and is formatted in a way that won't be negatively compressed by social media platforms. If you're paying for professional photography, why share it at low or bad quality?

I love to see my photos being enjoyed by clients and sharing online is a huge part of that! :)

THERE WERE A LOT OF IMAGES TAKEN AT OUR SESSION.

CAN I HAVE ALL OF THEM? (INCLUDING UNEDITED FILES)

I get this question a lot and I understand where clients are coming from when they ask this, however, I can't stress enough that the photos delivered to you were chosen because of many technical and artistic details, as well as decisions including choosing the most flattering images, angles, and expressions.

I do offer the option of purchasing additional edited images for $15 per added image after your gallery is complete, however it is important to note that it will extend the completion date of your final session gallery.
